the other，特指“其它的”人或物，相加等于总数。总数是两个时，有one...the other...的结构用法。others是名词，表示“别人”，等同于other people。  the other的用法 the other可以作主语：意思是其他的，另一个；也可以做定语放在名词前，意思一样。但是这几个词中凡是前面加定冠词the的都是有范围的，比如那群人中等等。主要词组:one...the other就是：一个……另一个……的意思，如： One of them is blue，the other ones are purple. 它们的其中一个是蓝色的，其他的是紫色的。 others的用法 others可以用other+复数名词来解释。others后不能够再加名词，others有一个固定词组：some……others……意思是：一些……另一些……。如： There are many people on the beach,some are having fun,others are swimming in the ocean. 有许多人在沙滩上，一些正玩得开心，另一些正在海里游泳。 the other和others的区别 the other指其它的……，其后可接可数名词和单数。如：the other book另外的一本书，the other map另一张地图；其后也可跟可数名词的复数形式，如：the other flowers其它的花朵，the other teachers其它的老师们，还可以接不可数名词如：the other water 剩下的水，the other beer别的啤酒。 others其用法相当于复数名词，此词不能用作定语，表示的意思是“不具体的某些东西”，如： This chemical is poisonous.Others are poisonous,too.(others=other chemicals) (责任编辑：admin) |
