最高级后名词用单数用复数都可以。例如：They are the cleverest students in their school.  最高级 最高级表示三者或三者以上的人或物进行比较时，用最高级。形容词的最高级前面要加定冠词the，副词最高级前面的the可以省略。在含有最高级的句子中，常有一个in/of/among短语来表示比较范围。屈折语一般用一定的屈折变化表示形容词的比较。普通比较称为比较级，最高比较称为最高级。 表达方法 例句 最高级 She is the best in her class. 比较级 She is better than any other student in her class. /No other student in her class is better than her. 原级No other student in her class is as good as her.
